Mirror work is tougher than it looks, but a little care keeps every piece of sheesha secure and shining for years.
Use a mild detergent and cool water. Swish gently rather than scrubbing, especially around the mirrors.
If you do use a machine, turn the kurti inside out, put it in a mesh bag and choose the gentlest cycle.
Dry in the shade and iron on the reverse with a cloth between the iron and the embroidery.
